Lochbuie is 2.5 miles north-east of Brighton, inside the radius we work in most weeks. That means quick turnaround on a quote visit, and it means a crew can come back the next day for a small item without the drive swallowing the job.
Lochbuie is home to about 8,088 people, and Lochbuie straddles Weld and Adams counties. Lochbuie sits just north-east of Brighton along I-76, at about 5,020 feet. There is open ground on most sides and very little natural shade or windbreak: lawns dry out from the edges in, irrigation coverage matters more than irrigation volume, and a patio or driveway takes sun and wind from every direction.
Below is what Lochbuie's own offices and water provider publish about permits, watering and backflow testing for the kind of work we do, checked October 13, 2026, with a link to each source.
Town of Lochbuie Building Department (building services contracted to SAFEbuilt). Apply online through the CommunityConnect portal; contractors need a current Town license. Inspections are scheduled and performed by SAFEbuilt.

Lochbuie Public Works requires a Right-of-Way permit for work including curb, gutter, sidewalk and curb/driveway cuts, submitted online or to rowpermits@lochbuie.org. The form requires a one-year maintenance bond, 24 hours' notice before construction and Town inspection of all phases; there is a $150 application review fee plus permit fees, and all fees double if work starts without a permit.

Watering rules change with drought stages and seasons. These are the rules the water provider published as of October 13, 2026; check the linked page before you seed, sod or change a sprinkler schedule.
Town of Lochbuie Public Utilities. The Town states it provides water, sewer and trash service to all Lochbuie residents.

Effective June 1, 2026 until further notice: even addresses water Thursday and Sunday, odd addresses Wednesday and Saturday, HOA/metro district common areas Tuesday and Friday, and no watering on Monday; watering is banned 7 a.m.–9 p.m. and limited to 15 minutes per zone. The Town said outdoor watering would drop to one day a week starting in August if outdoor demand was not cut at least 5%.

New lawns require a permit from Town Hall. Under Municipal Code Sec. 13-6-220 the permit (fee at least $20) allows watering once a day for up to 21 days for seeded lawns or 15 days for sod, up to 15 minutes per zone and not between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m.

A lawn sprinkler system needs a One Stop building permit, and its site plan must show the backflow preventer location. No irrigation backflow testing schedule was found on the Town's site.

Concrete driveways, walkways, patios and repairs (concrete), new lawns and lawn repairs (sod installation), sprinkler repair and winterization (sprinkler repair), plus xeriscape and retaining walls, kitchen, bath and basement remodeling, flooring and interior painting. A job that spans more than one of those is still one crew and one point of contact.
Yes. Lochbuie is about 2.5 miles north-east of our home base in Brighton, well inside the area we work in most weeks. Lochbuie straddles Weld and Adams counties, and the permit question for your specific job gets answered before work starts, not after.
At about 5,020 feet, the Front Range gives a reasonably long season for concrete and landscape work, though the shoulder months swing hard. Interior work - remodeling, flooring, painting - runs year round, and winter is usually the easiest time to get it scheduled.
We work throughout these neighbouring communities as well: Brighton (2.5 mi), Fort Lupton (7.6 mi), Hudson (7.7 mi). The full list is on our service area page.
