Eaton is about 37.8 miles north of Brighton. That is outside our day-to-day radius, so we schedule work here in blocks rather than one visit at a time, and we are straight with you about the calendar before anything is booked. Larger projects travel better than small ones.
Eaton is a community of roughly 5,802 residents, and Eaton sits in Weld County. Eaton sits along US-85 north of Greeley, at about 4,840 feet. There is open ground on most sides and very little natural shade or windbreak: lawns dry out from the edges in, irrigation coverage matters more than irrigation volume, and a patio or driveway takes sun and wind from every direction.
Below is what Eaton's own offices and water provider publish about permits, watering and backflow testing for the kind of work we do, checked October 13, 2026, with a link to each source.
Town of Eaton Building and Permitting (inspections contracted to SAFEbuilt). Permits are applied for and issued through the Town's CommunityCore portal, and the Town contracts with SAFEbuilt for all building inspection services; the 2024 I-codes took effect Jan. 1, 2026 (Ordinance 664).

Work in Town right-of-way needs a Right-of-Way Use Permit (form effective Jan. 1, 2026) submitted to Eaton Public Works & Engineering; the standard application and review fee is $175, a traffic control plan must be included, and restoration is due within 10 days of project completion.

Watering rules change with drought stages and seasons. These are the rules the water provider published as of October 13, 2026; check the linked page before you seed, sod or change a sprinkler schedule.
Town of Eaton water utility (treated water purchased from North Weld County Water District). Eaton's 2025 Drinking Water Quality Report lists the Town's source as surface water purchased from North Weld County Water District (consecutive connection). The Town also serves non-potable irrigation customers, whose systems run April 15-Oct. 15.

The Town's backflow program covers non-single-family connections (commercial, industrial, multifamily, agricultural, irrigation) and single-family connections that pose a potential risk, listing irrigation lines among greater-risk connections. Required RPZ assemblies must be tested and certified annually, with certifications uploaded to the Town's CommunityCore tracking system.

Concrete driveways, walkways, patios and repairs (concrete), new lawns and lawn repairs (sod installation), sprinkler repair and winterization (sprinkler repair), plus xeriscape and retaining walls, kitchen, bath and basement remodeling, flooring and interior painting. A job that spans more than one of those is still one crew and one point of contact.

At about 4,840 feet, the Front Range gives a reasonably long season for concrete and landscape work, though the shoulder months swing hard. Interior work - remodeling, flooring, painting - runs year round, and winter is usually the easiest time to get it scheduled.
We work throughout these neighbouring communities as well: Ault (4.9 mi), Severance (7.4 mi), Greeley (7.5 mi). The full list is on our service area page.
