Ault is about 42.2 miles north of Brighton. That is outside our day-to-day radius, so we schedule work here in blocks rather than one visit at a time, and we are straight with you about the calendar before anything is booked. Larger projects travel better than small ones.
Ault is a community of roughly 1,887 residents, and Ault sits in Weld County. Ault sits along US-85 north of Greeley, at about 4,940 feet. There is open ground on most sides and very little natural shade or windbreak: lawns dry out from the edges in, irrigation coverage matters more than irrigation volume, and a patio or driveway takes sun and wind from every direction.
Below is what Ault's own offices and water provider publish about permits, watering and backflow testing for the kind of work we do, checked October 13, 2026, with a link to each source.
Town of Ault (Town Hall licensing; inspections by SAFEbuilt Colorado). The Town accepts building permit applications online only through CommunityCore; exterior projects or projects that change a foundation need a letter to the Planning Commission, and applicants contact SAFEbuilt for all required inspections.

A Town of Ault ROW permit application and diagram must be returned to Town Hall before any work in the right-of-way. The ROW/street cut permit is $150 plus street/ROW repair, boring is $100 per bore, inspections are $100 scheduled or $150 unscheduled, and ROW violations are $500 per incident.

Watering rules change with drought stages and seasons. These are the rules the water provider published as of October 13, 2026; check the linked page before you seed, sod or change a sprinkler schedule.
Town of Ault Municipal Utilities (Colorado-Big Thompson water treated at Soldier Canyon, delivered by North Weld County Water District). The Town's potable water comes from the Colorado-Big Thompson project, is filtered at the Soldier Canyon filter plant and is delivered by North Weld County Water District. Non-potable (untreated well water) irrigation serves certain areas of town, including the Conestoga neighborhood, and operates April 15-Oct. 15.

Concrete driveways, walkways, patios and repairs (concrete), new lawns and lawn repairs (sod installation), sprinkler repair and winterization (sprinkler repair), plus xeriscape and retaining walls, kitchen, bath and basement remodeling, flooring and interior painting. A job that spans more than one of those is still one crew and one point of contact.
Yes. Ault is about 42.2 miles north of our home base in Brighton, within the radius we schedule work in blocks for. Ault sits in Weld County, and the permit question for your specific job gets answered before work starts, not after.
At about 4,940 feet, the Front Range gives a reasonably long season for concrete and landscape work, though the shoulder months swing hard. Interior work - remodeling, flooring, painting - runs year round, and winter is usually the easiest time to get it scheduled.
We work throughout these neighbouring communities as well: Pierce (3.6 mi), Eaton (4.9 mi), Severance (7.3 mi). The full list is on our service area page.
