Windsor is about 35.1 miles north of Brighton. That is outside our day-to-day radius, so we schedule work here in blocks rather than one visit at a time, and we are straight with you about the calendar before anything is booked. Larger projects travel better than small ones.
Windsor is a city of roughly 32,716, and Windsor straddles Weld and Larimer counties. Windsor sits between Fort Collins and Greeley, at about 4,800 feet.
Below is what Windsor's own offices and water provider publish about permits, watering and backflow testing for the kind of work we do, checked October 13, 2026, with a link to each source.
Town of Windsor Community Development - Building Permits (building inspections by SAFEbuilt). Work in Town rights-of-way requires an Engineering right-of-way permit from Windsor Engineering and Public Works, and the Town is moving all right-of-way applications to a new OpenGov permit portal. Utility cuts, backfill and pavement patching must meet the Town's Street Specifications.

Windsor's building permit requirements include a Soil Compaction Affidavit for concrete flatwork (Windsor Municipal Code Sec. 18-3-10). The Town's permit page doesn't say whether a stand-alone patio or driveway needs its own building permit, so ask the permit desk before you pour.

Watering rules change with drought stages and seasons. These are the rules the water provider published as of October 13, 2026; check the linked page before you seed, sod or change a sprinkler schedule.
Town of Windsor (Windsor Water Utility); North Weld County Water District, City of Greeley and Fort Collins-Loveland Water District also named as providers. The Town's Water/Sewer page states that three separate water providers serve the Town of Windsor: North Weld County Water District, the City of Greeley and Fort Collins-Loveland Water District; NWCWD's service-area page says it serves the northern areas of Windsor. Some subdivisions have HOA non-potable irrigation systems, and residents contact their HOA about those.

The Town's Efficiency page lists 'lawn watering restrictions (no watering from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily)' among its water-conservation measures; no day-of-week schedule or drought stage is posted on that page.

Business and industrial Windsor Water customers, including sprinkler supply lines, must have backflow assemblies tested once a year by a certified tester (Backflow Solutions Inc. sends the notices) and retested after any repair or relocation. Testing of residential sprinkler backflow devices is voluntary.

Concrete driveways, walkways, patios and repairs (concrete), new lawns and lawn repairs (sod installation), sprinkler repair and winterization (sprinkler repair), plus xeriscape and retaining walls, kitchen, bath and basement remodeling, flooring and interior painting. A job that spans more than one of those is still one crew and one point of contact.

At about 4,800 feet, the Front Range gives a reasonably long season for concrete and landscape work, though the shoulder months swing hard. Interior work - remodeling, flooring, painting - runs year round, and winter is usually the easiest time to get it scheduled.
We work throughout these neighbouring communities as well: Severance (4.4 mi), Timnath (4.8 mi), Johnstown (8.2 mi). The full list is on our service area page.
