Bennett is about 23.8 miles south-east of our Brighton home base - a routine drive for us, and one we make regularly. Quote visits and scheduled work both fit our normal week here.
Bennett is a community of roughly 2,862 residents, and Bennett straddles Adams and Arapahoe counties. Bennett sits on the plains east of the Denver metro along I-70, at about 5,480 feet. There is open ground on most sides and very little natural shade or windbreak: lawns dry out from the edges in, irrigation coverage matters more than irrigation volume, and a patio or driveway takes sun and wind from every direction.
Below is what Bennett's own offices and water provider publish about permits, watering and backflow testing for the kind of work we do, checked October 13, 2026, with a link to each source.

A $75 Right-of-Way permit is needed for work in a Town right-of-way (street, sidewalk) or work that disrupts traffic: submit a site plan, traffic control plan and schedule, call 811, and notify Public Works 48 hours before starting (inspections can include forms/rebar and curb cuts). A separate $75 Access Permit is needed for a new driveway access point from a Town street or alley; access must be paved where it meets the right-of-way, with grades between 2% and 6%.

Watering rules change with drought stages and seasons. These are the rules the water provider published as of October 13, 2026; check the linked page before you seed, sod or change a sprinkler schedule.

Standing rule: no watering 10 a.m.–6 p.m. (hand watering allowed). Mandatory Stage 1 restrictions took effect July 27, 2026, set to run through Sept. 8, 2026 unless modified: even addresses Monday/Wednesday/Friday, odd addresses Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday, a total of 4 watering hours per week, and no irrigation or hand watering 10 a.m.–6 p.m.

Residents who lay new seed or sod may apply to the Town for a special permit exempting them from the watering restrictions. The July 2026 Stage 1 notice also offers a temporary watering permit for new sod, seed or other qualifying landscaping.

Concrete driveways, walkways, patios and repairs (concrete), new lawns and lawn repairs (sod installation), sprinkler repair and winterization (sprinkler repair), plus xeriscape and retaining walls, kitchen, bath and basement remodeling, flooring and interior painting. A job that spans more than one of those is still one crew and one point of contact.
Yes. Bennett is about 23.8 miles south-east of our home base in Brighton, a routine drive we make regularly. Bennett straddles Adams and Arapahoe counties, and the permit question for your specific job gets answered before work starts, not after.
At about 5,480 feet, the Front Range gives a reasonably long season for concrete and landscape work, though the shoulder months swing hard. Interior work - remodeling, flooring, painting - runs year round, and winter is usually the easiest time to get it scheduled.
We work throughout these neighbouring communities as well: Aurora (15.7 mi), Centennial (20.2 mi), Commerce City (20.8 mi). The full list is on our service area page.
